If you can your balls in the right places for the Games of the small feathers or even longer offered, you can use this tire. The golden rule is 0.177 for birds and 0.22 for the skin, which is the rabbit or other games of hair. These are air guns ... Gamo Nitro is a good start in place of the tires, but it is a learning process for firing air weapons, especially the boat ..
Please do not spend $ 150 on an air rifle that can take one years and the quality is marginal, at best (IMO)
You can buy a very nice, IMO, the "Best Value" rifle in the world for 159 $. RWS Model 34 Panther

A little more than a wood stock and the combo update
You can get the same "quality" as the rifle Gamo Nitro 17 to 90 $ with the Winchester 1000X.
I like the Winchester (made by Daisy) a little better than the Gamo.
The IMO has been my experience hunting / hunting rifle for 46 years, you need "to" 6fpe upon impact with the proper hunting pellets for small animals like rabbits.
Use Superpoint RWS, 177 pellets - Example
575fps - 8.2gr = 6.02fpe
There are some experts say, the tire enforce 3-4fpe enough, but really IMO.

Any other reason why you can not use a .22 cal? You can use a Marlin Model 60 for less than $ 100 and have been a number of more than 150 meters instead of the squirrels.
